Minister says JUI-F chief has gone down a blind alley and is trapped now

Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid on Saturday said four of the six people he had spoken about were already in jail and one of the remaining two, a close aide of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Falur Rehman, would be rounded up soon.
“I had said that if Prime Minister Imran Khan gives an NRO to six people, the opposition’s campaign would fizzle out. Four of them have already been nabbed,” he said while addressing a news conference at the Railways headquarters.
“Maulana Fazl has gone down a blind alley and is trapped now,” the minister maintained, adding that on October 27 he would reveal whose agenda the JUI-F chief was working on. “Maulana Fazl has dented the opposition in the past too and he shall do so again.”
Rashid said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif was in two minds and trying to play a double game. “Fazl and Shehbaz still haven’t been able to make up their minds.”
To a question, he said that he was ready to provide a train to Fazl (for his ‘Azadi march’) just like he had facilitated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The minister maintained that PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz had played a key role in ruining her father Nawaz Sharif.
“Let’s see what Hassan and Hussain will do for their father," he added.
The minister said PM Imran would successfully defeat all his opponents by January 31.
Commenting on the achievements of the prime minister, he said PM Imran had protected the country from defaulting on its debts and his policies brought stability to the Pakistani currency.
“The international community had accepted the vision of Imran Khan and put pressure on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the minister maintained.
“PM Imran is now going to Iran and then Riyadh on a diplomatic tour to bring the both Muslim countries closer to each other. It is Imran Khan, who fought the case of Kashmir at every forum including in China.”
Rashid said Pakistan did not want war, if it was pushed into it, it would a decisive one. “Every Pakistani is standing with armed forces which will decide the final strategy.”
To a question about the curfew in occupied Kashmir, the minister said Kashmiris would continue taking to the streets as they had nothing left to lose.
To another question, Rashid said the incumbent government had inherited inflation and price hike from by previous ones.
