Met Forecast: Hot and dry weather expected
Rain and thunderstorms for upper Punjab, Hazara Division, Kashmir and adjoining areas are expected from July 14.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday forecast that the weather across most parts of the country is likely to be hot and dry during the next 24-48 hours. According to a Met official, more rain and thunderstorms for upper Punjab, Hazara Division, Kashmir and adjoining areas however are expected from July 14 onwards. Chances of thundershowers are expected in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours as well. The maximum temperatures recorded in different cities were: Islamabad 36 C, Lahore 38, Karachi 33 C, Peshawar 37 C, Quetta 36 C, Gilgit 35 C, Muzaffarabad 36 C, Murree 24 C and Faisalabad 38 C.
