‘People of Karachi satisfied with ‘Clean My Karachi’ drive’

Baloch also reviewed the cleanliness work in 10 union councils of DMC Malir

Sindh Minister for Human Settlements Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has said that the results of the Clean Karachi campaign are coming out and the people of Karachi are very much satisfied with the campaign.

He made these remarks while visiting various areas of District Malir on Thursday to inspect the work being done under the Sindh government’s ‘Clean My Karachi’ campaign.

Accompanied by Malir DC Abdul Halim Jagirani, Baloch reviewed the cleanliness work in 10 union councils of DMC Malir. The minister expressed displeasure at the pile of rubbish lying on the road in UC-1 and ordered it to be lifted immediately. He also reviewed the cleanliness arrangements in Majid Colony, Muzaffarabad, Sherpao Colony, Hussaini Chorangi, Mehran Highway, Marvi Goth, Malir Bakra Peri and Gharibabad.

Witnesses summoned in protest case in Karachi

The minister said that the Clean My Karachi campaign was achieving good results under the direction of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and expressed the hope that Karachi would soon present a beautiful scene.
