PIA has finally announced salary increase for its employees. Every one will appreciate this act of the Managing Director PIA Captain Nadeem Khan Yousufzai but it would have been more commended if PIA would not have neglected the "RETIRED EMPLOYEES". Very recently Government of Pakistan has increased the salaries of Government Employees but due consideration was given to the increase of PENSION of the retired employees. PIA officials have completly neglected their senior collegues which has further worsened the financial position of these old aged employees.

Although Pension Policy of PIA is much debatable as it is not uniform in nature and different treatment is given to different catagory of employees. The worst is the Admin. Catagory who only get a very small amount as their monthly pension. People will not believe that a Manager who was getting Rs.75,000/- as Monthly Salary is getting only Rs.5700/- as Monthly Pension and the delima is that while increasing the salary of staff these old aged employees who given their blood to this organization have been neglected completly.

I will request PIA Management to review their devision and have some heart for your old collegues.
