Times Mahira Khan’s mother proved she's the real superstar

From revealing inside jokes to influential poetry, the star recurrently stans her mother on social media

KARACHI:
In a recent post on social media, Mahira Khan revealed how her mother proves that she's the real trap queen behind the curtains, as she sends a witty message to her daughter in the form of a hilarious video.

The tweet captioned, “Ama last night, so random, but so Ama.” As the screenshot showed a cat, making her way through the floor in a uniform, while mother Mahira challenged Khan's abilities to walk as confidentially as she does.

The star had shared another screenshot that cracked people up, and did several rounds on social media. It showed the two women were victims of auto-correct, just like everyone else.

“I just had to post this; both me and Ama are having severe auto-correct issues,” pointed out the star.

The actor also shared this one time her mother referred to her family members as "homies" while wishing them Eid Mubarak in June.

While in a mothers day post, the actor-cum-model reminisced childhood memories with her mother, reinstating how she was wrong and her mother was right all along when she said "Jab khud ke bachay hongay tub pata chalay ga!"

As for this one, the Superstar actor hinted at her ordinary life where her mother also stops talking to her sometimes.

As for this Instagram post, Khan addressed her birth-giver as the Don Corleone of her home.

She added that her brilliant mother will manage to find this posts, just like she finds every other, regardless of not being on Instagram. "I love you, I love love you. I admire your strength and your ability to smile in the face of adversity. Forever grateful for You, Yours x," concluded the actor, admitting that she 'got it from her mother.'

To sum it all up, Khan put the jokes aside on this one as she shed light on how her mother has been the sole inspiration behind her work and success. She further added a poem which sent shivers down our spine, proving that it takes a star, to raise a star.

"Uth baandh kamar, kya darta hai? Phir dekh khuda kya Karta hai.
Yeh duniya aakhir faani hai, aur jaan bhi ek din jaani hai.
Par tujhko kya hairaani hai? Kar daal jo dil mein thaani hai.
Jab himmat ki jolani hai, toh pathar bhi phir paani hai.
Uth baandh kamar.. Kya darta hai?"
