Table Tennis: PTTF names junior championship team
Rameez Khan and Salman Zirq to represent the country at the Asian Junior Championship.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) has named Rameez Khan and Salman Zirq to represent the country at the Asian Junior Championship that starts from July 20 in New Delhi. Zirq, who recently defeated former Pakistan number one Saleem Abbas at the national championships, is the country’s main hope, according to the PTTF coach Nadeem Sajjad. Khan, a bronze medallist at the Asian team championship, and Zirq are currently training in Lahore.
