Making new friends: Altaf Hussain calls Sardar Attique
The MQM chief appeared to seeking Attique’s support for what he termed “a single-point agenda of saving the country”.
KARACHI:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain telephoned Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan on Sunday to discuss the political situation in both Karachi and AJK.
The MQM chief appeared to seeking Attique’s support for what he termed “a single-point agenda of saving the country”, an implication that perhaps the MQM might be interested in a political alliance with the Muslim Conference.
