3,169 criminals arrested in September
Arrests have been made from various parts of Faisalabad during the past three months

FAISALABAD:
Police arrested 3,169 criminals, including 1,426 proclaimed offenders, from various parts of the district during the past three months. Officials stated that during September, police arrested 612 proclaimed offenders including 72 category A offenders and 540 category B offenders. Police also arrested 160 drug traffickers, 245 illegal weapon holders and 43 gamblers during the same month and seized 55.12 kilogramme hashish, one kilogramme heroin, 2,027 litres of liquor, 201 pistols, 25 guns, eight Kalashnikovs, six rifles, five revolvers and Rs59,240 in cash. Similarly, police arrested 158 proclaimed offenders during the month of August including 24 category A offenders and 274 category B offenders. Officials also arrested 274 drug traffickers, 262 illegal weapon holders and 73 gamblers and confiscated 79.98kg hashish, 3,398 litres of liquor, 206 pistols, 19 guns, 17 rifles, 10 Kalashnikovs and Rs106,560 in cash.
