Sindh Police chief IG Dr Kaleem Imam has recommended the transfer of Additional IG Sarwar Jamali
KARACHI:
Sindh Police chief IG Dr Kaleem Imam has recommended the transfer of Additional IG Sarwar Jamali, a grade-21 officer, to a federal post. He made the recommendation in light of a report that concludes that Jamali is guilty of misconduct. In a letter addressed to the Sindh Chief Secretary, Imam has referred to the report and mentioned that the Sindh Police Department does not require Jamali’s services anymore. According to police sources, allegations of conducting illegal raids, harassing citizens and corruption have been proved against Jamali after investigation.
