The Levies Force seized a drug chemical being smuggled to Afghanistan at Gat Brot area of Dalbandin. Addressing a news conference, Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Fateh Khan Khajak, ADC Chaghi Badal Dashti and other officials informed that three Iranian pick-up vehicles carrying 240 cans of drug chemical were confiscated. “Following a tip-off, Levies Force chased down the vehicles and confiscated 800 litres of chemical used in drugs and explosives, arresting three smugglers,” DC Chaghi Fateh Khajak said adding that the chemical is worth millions of rupees in the international market. Lauding the action, DC Chaghi affirmed that Levies Force is equipped with modern weapons to strengthen its capacity. “Action will continue against criminals, smugglers and car lifters across Chagai district,”he said. Meanwhile in a separate action, Levies Force recovered six vehicles which were used for smuggling and illicit activities in Mach, Boln District.
