Cab driver’s body found
The police handed over the body to the deceased’s father after completing medico-legal formalities
KARACHI:
The body of a Careem cab driver was found in a car near Nazimabad Gol Market on Monday. The deceased, identified as Ahsan, 25, son of Ijaz, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by passersby. According to Nazimabad SHO M Illyas, the deceased was a resident of Garden Town and drove a cab which was owned by Junaid, resident of Gol Market. The SHO said that Ahsan told Junaid he had chest pain, at which Junaid asked him to come to his house so that Junaid could take him to the hospital but Ahsan died before he reached Junaid’s house. Junaid said that Ahsan died due to a cardiac arrest. The police handed over the body to the deceased’s father after completing medico-legal formalities.
