Minor raped, killed by schoolteacher in Mardan

The body of the body, strangled to death, was found in the sugarcane field of the district

MARDAN: A student of class four was strangled to death, and his body thrown into a sugarcane field in the limits of the Lund Khawar area of district Mardan on Sunday, according to (FIR). District Police Officer Sajjad Khan while speaking to the media at the press conference disclosed that a schoolteacher Sohail had called two students including Farhan to school and later asked the other student to go home and he would drop Farhan home on his motorcycle.

Nizamuddin, an uncle of the deceased, told the media that Farhan had been called to the school by the teacher but he never returned home. Police have arrested the schoolteacher on suspicion first while Mohibullah, father of Farhan, later registered an FIR against the teacher who they suspect first raped Farhan and strangled him to death, before throwing his body into the sugarcane field police added. DPO Sajjad said the autopsy had confirmed that Farhan had been raped and after in fear of disclosure of the crime the teacher strangled him to death.
