Anesthesiology Congress to be held
The scientific programme includes discussions on critical care, pain management, care of patients

The 13th SAARC Anesthesiology Congress will be held between October 10 and 13 in Lahore. The Pakistan Society of Anesthesiologists will host the event, said Organising Secretary Dr Jodat Saleem. He said that it will be a great opportunity to learn and share knowledge with each other. Dr Saleem said that the scientific programme includes discussions on critical care, pain management, care of patients during operations, workshops on practical skills and recent advances in anesthesiology. He added that the specialty of anesthesiology is vital for every hospital and about 90% of the patient care involves services of anesthesiologist. He requested the officials of the Punjab Health Department to send anesthesiologists from district and tehsil headquarter hospitals to attend the event.
