Peshawar to get 29 traffic lights
Traffic police officials to present report to CM Mahmood Khan
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to install 29 new traffic signals in Peshawar to overcome traffic congestion and maintaining smooth traffic slow.
The signals will be installed in areas of Hayatabad, Range Road, Cantonment and inner city. The signal waiting time will vary from road-to-road in accordance with the traffic in the area.
According to the traffic police, there are 35 such points in the city where the traffic flow was more than usual especially during peak hours. The traffic police officials will also present a report to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in this regard on Wednesday.
