NAB files another reference against Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed another reference on Tuesday against former Sindh minister Sharjeel Memon and 12 other accused before an accountability court in the case pertaining to assets beyond means.

NAB has named Memon's wife, Sadaf Sharjeel, and mother, Zeenat Inam, as accused in the reference.

The court approved the reference for hearing and issued notices to Memon, Sadaf, Zeenat, and others, directing them to appear before the court on the next hearing.

The other accused include Zeeshan, Izhar Hussain, Muhammad Suhail, Saifullah, Agha Hassan, Shoukat Ali Thebo, Waseem Ali Thebo and Kamran Ali.

According to the reference, Sharjeel is out on bail. The reference states that the accused made assets beyond means and evidence is available.
