Maintaining its market push, OPPO unveils A9, A5 2020

Packed with 48-megapixel quad-camera, 5000mAh battery

LAHORE: With a huge variety of smartphones launching round the clock, OPPO also stepped up its game by unveiling the A9 2020 and A5 2020 that have become personalised diaries, assisting users with their daily activities as well as popular short video apps.

“OPPO A9 2020 commemorates the success of the A series over the past ten years and welcomes a whole new generation of mobile users. The name also reflects the vision OPPO has for the coming 10 years,” stated Ali Kakvi, Director Marketing, OPPO Pakistan at the launch event.



With a great focus on the 5000 mAh Ultra-Battery that lasts longer than most phones the mid-level smartphone market. The Chinese company claims to have tailor-made the A9 2020 as a complete gaming portal that is packed with great features and is on the lighter side of the pricing.

At the event, Kakvi also announced that the leading global smartphone brand, OPPO has achieved yet another milestone by becoming number one in terms of sales volume in the Pakistani market.

The OPPO A9 2020 that comes with a multipurpose quad-camera includes a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide Lens, 2-megapixel Mono Lens and a 2-megapixel Portrait Lens while the OPPO A5 2020 comes with the same quad-camera features but a rear camera of 12-megapixel.



The camera ensures great picture quality that captures the minutest of details, Ultra-Night Mode 2.0 and an artistic portrait style. The Mono Lens and Portrait Lens ensure that the picture has an added retro, grainy and atmospheric filter to the portrait shots that will create a new unique style. While with the latest AI technology, OPPO has ensured that even the blemishes are removed from the skin when a picture is taken.

Priced at Rs 45,999, OPPO A9 2020 in Marine Green and Space Purple with 8GB RAM and 128 GM ROM storage will be available starting September 28 in Pakistan.
