Kit Harington says he hasn't watched the final season of 'Game of Thrones'
Well, we can't blame him now, can we?

Actor Kit Harington says he hasn't seen the final season of his hit show Game of Thrones.
Backstage at the 2019 Emmys, the reunited cast was asked about the seemingly constant stream of backlash that has poured in since the show aired. Harington decided to step up and quiet the haters, reported E! Online.
"I''ll take this one," he said. "I still haven't seen the show, so that's how I dealt with that controversy. I haven't seen the final season, but I know what it took to shoot it and it was hard and everyone put their love and effort into it."
"Controversy for us, we knew what we were doing was right story wise and we knew that it was right for the characters because we lived with them for 10 years," the actor, who played Jon Snow, continued. "Controversy for us, didn't really affect us."
Earlier, however, Harington has angrily hit back at critics of Game of Thrones’ long-awaited final season. The actor had admitted to feeling “quite defiant” amid heavy fan backlash over the final six episodes.
“Whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their judgment on it, in my head they can go f**k themselves,” he told Esquire. “Because I know how much work was put into this.”
Harington later apologised, saying he didn’t intend to “sound mean about critics”, but added that the show meant too much to him for him to allow it to be bashed online.
“A lot of jobs, everyone goes back to their apartments at the end of the day. They have their lives, and they have their families, and they have their girlfriends or boyfriends back home,” Harington said. “I think part of what made (GoT) successful was the fact that we got on like a family. Everyone who came in was welcomed into the family.”
Benioff and Weiss have been the main targets of fans’ ire, with many complaining that their writing has been lazy in the final run of episodes.
GoT won top award at the Emmys on Sunday.
