LAHORE:
Jamiat UIema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that no power can stop him from organising ‘Azadi March’. Fazl said he is in contact with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and will have more meetings with them.

“The PPP and the PML-N will be united on the issue of new elections. If I am arrested, I shall lead the march despite being under custody,” he said while talking to reporters after a meeting with JUI-F Lahore chapter chief Pir Aijaz Hashmi at his residence.

The JUI-F chief said the stage is all set after the “15 million march”. He said: “People agree to the narrative that the PTI-led government was formed through rigging. People should have the right to elect the government. Not with illegal methods.”

Fazl said: “We have talked to the PML-N about Azadi March and we shall have mutual consultations. No power has stopped us from organising Azadi March.”

He said: “No one is satisfied with the policies. Everyone is feeling difficulties."
