Cops catch robbers, seize jewellery

Noon police also arrested a suspect for possessing 300 grammes of hashish

ISLAMABAD: Police claimed to have arrested a three-member gang of robbers and recovered looted items. Sabzi Mandi police recovered stolen bikes, gold jewellery, and illegal arms from the trio identified as Zabi Naseer Khan, Jameel Gul Muhammad, and Manzoor Khan an Afghan national. A police spokesman said that a team headed by Sabzi Mandi police station SHO Sub-Inspector Tariq Rauf, ASI Zulfiqar and others arrested the three suspects. During preliminary investigation, the arrested people confessed to robberies in remits of Sabzi Mandi and Golra police stations. Separately Noon police arrested a suspect for possessing 300 grammes of hashish. separately, two bootleggers were caught by Sadar Baironi police with 30 litters of homebrewed liquor.
