Police fail to trace missing girl nine days on

A kidnapping case has been registered for the victim

RAWALPINDI: Police have yet to trace the 11-year old girl who had gone missing from outside her home in the precincts of Ratta Amral nine days ago.

The Grade VII student went outside her house and did not return. He devastated parents remained unable to find any clue of her. Police said they were investigating the case from different aspects.

The victim’s father, Yousuf Shah, said that her daughter went outside the house on September 14 and mysteriously disappeared. The family went to search for her but returned helplessly.

Acting on the complaint, the police have registered a kidnapping case and also released an advertisement for the victim.

In this regard, SHO Ratta Amral Muhammad Adil said that initial investigation revealed that the victim was very sensitive in nature while her parents were strict about her education.
