A children’s library has been established at Alkhair School in New Karachi with the support of the Turkish government

A children’s library has been established at Alkhair School in New Karachi with the support of the Turkish government. Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani and Turkey Consul-General Tolga Uçak inaugurated the library on Monday. The library has been established with the support of Turkey’s state-run aid agency, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), at the local charity school with the aim to support children’s education in slum areas. Around 2,000 students enrolled at the school will benefit from the library. Consul-General Uçak said that quality education was a right and he wished that the children of Pakistan are provided with the best education.
