Three killed in separate incidents

SARGODHA:
Three persons including two minors were killed in separate incidents on Monday. An eight-year-old boy was killed by a fake faith healer in Cantonment. Police officials said that Ghazala Yasmeen took her eight-year-old son Adil Raza to a faith healer named Wasim Shah in Chak No 47/NB for treatment. During practice, the faith healer tortured the boy, broke his jawbone and damaged his bladder. The injured was shifted to DHQ hospital in a precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have arrested the accused and registered a case against him under section 302. In another incident, labourer Muhammad Din, son of Naseer Din of Jauharabad, along with Fateh Khan were digging underground to install a water pump in their village when a large chunk of earth fell upon them. As a result, Muhammad Din died on the spot while Fateh Khan sustained injuries. The injured was shifted to a local hospital. Moreover, Areesha, a grade one student in Government Girls Primary School, died of an electric shock when she touched a water pump in the school.  Police are investigating the cases.
