CM Murad attends Major Shahid’s funeral
Sepoy Faraz Hussain was also martyred in the same incident
KARACHI:
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Minister for Information, Archives and Labour Saeed Ghani attended the funeral prayer of Major Adeel Shahid on Saturday. Major Shahid died in an explosion caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Mohmand tribal district on Friday. Sepoy Faraz Hussain was also martyred in the same incident. Paying homage to the major, Ghani said that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of martyrs like Major Shahid who had played a vital role in defeating enemies of the state. Ghani prayed for the martyrs and their families and offered his condolences while paying tribute to their services.
