Prince William, Kate Middleton to visit Pakistan next month
Visit will provide opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations: Foreign Office
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will visit Pakistan on a four-day trip in October.
“The official visit to Pakistan by Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will take place between Monday 14th and Friday 18th October,” a statement issued by the British High Commission in Pakistan said.
Before their visit, the royals will attend a special event at the Aga Khan Centre in London on October 2, which will be hosted by Prince Karim Aga Khan.
The trip will mark Kate and William’s first visit to Pakistan.
Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said the government and the people of Pakistan looked forward to the visit of the royal couple.
“Pakistan and the UK enjoy deep and cordial relationship. The visit will provide yet another opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral relations,” he tweeted.
