Two groups clash at judicial complex

The feuding parties lunged at each other in an apparent attempt of out of court settlement

The new judicial complex and district kutchery turned into a battlefield once again when two groups of rival litigants attacked each other on the highly guarded premises.

The feuding parties lost patience and lunged at each other in an apparent attempt of out of court settlement.

Police said that after proceeding of a murder case in the court of District and Sessions Judge Aijaz Raza, the litigants in the case entered into a scuffle and started attacking each other with punches, kicks and even bricks and stones, leaving three drenched in blood.


As the brawl went uglier between the parties, they openly threatened to kill each other. In spite of heavy deployment of police, the courthouse brawl continued for almost half an hour.

However, the policemen deployed at gates of the complex remained silent spectators waiting for Civil Lines police which reached the spot after 30 minutes.
