Recruitment process to be expedited

University of Peshawar (UoP) Vice-Chancellor Professor Asif Khan on Thursday welcomed a decision of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Higher Education Department for issuing a notification whereby a ban on recruitments in universities of the province was vacated. The decision, Prof Asif said, shall have a positive impact, especially for UoP which had put out two advertisements for recruiting teachers from 2015 and 2018. The vice-chancellor hailed the efforts of HED Secretary Manzur Ahmed for his efforts to push the case. Prof Asif hoped that students and the teaching community of the varsity will synchronise and synergise their efforts during the academic year due to this decision. With the ban lifted, he assured the teaching community that the recruitment process will be expedited.
