Timely execution of projects to be ensured

Blacktop roads would open new avenues of development in the area

QUETTA: Adviser to Chief Minister Baloch­istan on Education Muhammad Khan Lehri Tuesday said provincial government headed by Jam Kamal Khan Alyani was trying to ensure timely completion of all development schemes in the province for the welfare of people.

Lehri was talking to a delegation of Dera Murad Jamali Press Club led by its General Secretary Ali Jan Mangi who called on him at his office.

The adviser declared that Rs400 million had been tendered for the construction of blacktop roads in the constituency and work on them would start soon.

He maintained that blacktop roads would open new avenues of development in the area.

Lehri said policies were being adopted to impart education and training to the new generation so that they could utilize their skills in the best interest of the country.

He remarked that law and order situation in the province had improved due to stringent steps taken by the provincial government.

“For the first time in the province, police and Levies personnel have been upgraded despite the financial difficulties for which the credit goes to Balochistan chief minister,” he said.

“The government is pursuing various programmes for the development of Balochistan. We have taken the province on the path of growth and success and our mission is to serve people,” he added.

Lehri urged the journalists to highlight the issues of people in a positive manner.
