CDA regularises 786 workers
Assistant Director Adalat Shah and Inspector Usman Lashari suspended on charges of inefficiency and misconduct
ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board has approved regularising 786 of its employees working on daily wages, contract and daily payroll.
The civic body has decided this during its board meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed and other members of board attended the meeting.
According to an official of CDA, there are 483 numbers of employees working on daily wages including 11 employees from BPS16 to BPS 17 similarly 81 are BPS 1 to 15and 19 are working on contract basis.
Separately, CDA chairman has suspended Assistant Director (Enforcement) Adalat Shah and Inspector (Enforcement) Usman Lashari on charges of inefficiency and misconduct.
The officers have been suspended over inefficiency and negligence regarding illegal constructions in Kuri area, said a press release. Meanwhile, as part of on-going anti-encroachment operation, CDA recovered 350 kanal of state land in Chatha Bakhtawar.
Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) and Islamabad police helped CDA staff demolish illegal construction with heavy machinery.
