QUETTA:
Continuing its onslaught against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal government, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s flawed economic policies and fiscally imprudent decision-making have left the country at the precipice of financial doom.

Abdul Rehman Rafique, who is the Quetta head of the party, while addressing a press conference the other day also accused the PTI of “depriving the JUI-F of its public mandate by using backdoor channels” in a reference to unsubstantiated rigging allegations made against the ruling party after its victory in the 2018 general election.

“The PTI-led government has place Pakistan’s Islamic identity and cultural values at stake while it has also used the state apparatus to silence dissent and encroached upon free speech,” said Rafique.
