Families of rescuers compensated

Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer distributed cheques worth over Rs3.4 million as financial compensation to the families of two rescuers in Rescue headquarters. The DG presented a compensation cheque worth Rs1,584,408 to the widow of Rescuer Shahbaz Shamas and a compensation cheque of Rs1,900,000 to the father of Rescuer Tauqeer Hassan Raza in his office. Shahbaz joined the service in 2009 as a sanitary worker and performed his duty in Lahore district.
