Series of resignations may follow after Qadri’s quitting
Dr Qadri was defending Islamic law in Pakistan, his resignation has astonished the whole nation: Ahmed
QUETTA:
Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Secretary-General Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri was a staunch defender of the state of Pakistan but after his quitting the politics, a series of resignations would start.
Ahmed shared these views while laying down the foundation stone of Aqsa mosque in Sariyab.
He claimed that the current government that came to power with the slogan of change would be changed in October.
“Dr Tahir ul Qadri was defending Islamic law in Pakistan but he quit politics which has astonished the whole nation,” he remarked and added that PM Imran used Qadri during his Islamabad lockdown.
“PTA chairman was fighting the case of Model Town victims but despite being a cousin of PTI, he did not give a single statement on the inquiry being carried out and being more ironical, he quit politics.”
The JUI-F secretary general maintained that the current government was not capable of defending Kashmir cause on the global level.
