KARACHI: I appreciate George Fulton’s point in his op-ed piece of June 9 titled ‘Hope is contagious too’. Positive actions certainly need to be appreciated more by the media. There is a lot to be appreciated, and a lot to work on. Both need to be highlighted.

Regarding TEDx, I wish I had an opportunity to attend it. I did get an email pitching it to me, but the marketing pitch was so aggressive that I suspected an ulterior commercial agenda. I will look out for it next time, and check out the website TED.com
