Road accidents claim seven lives in DG Khan

Seven people were killed while five others suffered injuries in two road accidents in Kot Chatta Circle area of Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday.

Police said that a speeding oil tanker rammed into a motorcycle, killing four people of a family on the spot. The deceased were identified as Mujahid Abbas, his wife and their two children. Their seven-year-old daughter was severely injured and she is in the hospital where her condition is stated to be critical.

On receiving information, SHO at Kot Chatta police station Abdul Shakoor Qaisrani reached the site and impounded the tanker.


Two die in accident while shifting minor’s body on motorcycle

Rescue 1122 teams shifted the bodies and the injured to the Dera Ghazi Khan Teaching Hospital. Later, the bodies were handed over to the family. In a separate incident, an accident took place near a small village of Kot Chatta Circle area where a motorcyclist named Sabtain lost control of the vehicle, killing three people. An eight-year-old Maryam and 18-year-old Gulshan died on the spot while Haseena Bibi and Palwasha Bibi suffered injuries.

On the same day, two pedestrians were injured when a motorcyclist hit them as they were trying to cross the road.
