Generating Good Will: Wasa installs heavy duty generators
generators at Chakera and Bawa Chak stations to deal with any emergency situation during the monsoon season
FAISALABAD:
The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has installed heavy duty generators at disposal stations in Chakera and Bawa Chak to deal with any emergency situation during the monsoon season. The Faisalabad Director General (DG) Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf told reporters that extensive arrangements had been completed to resolve public complaints relating to the flood situation. Ashraf said that all old sewerage lines in Allama Iqbal Colony had been restored. He said that this would help resolve sewerage problems of the locality and adjacent areas during the rainy season. Ashraf also visited various Wasa disposal stations and said that Wasa had been unable to remove rainwater that had collected in some low lying areas and that this was causing electrical problems. Ashraf said that new heavy duty generators would help resolve this complaint.
