Police recover 50 kalashnikovs
Conducted raids in different areas and apprehended seven suspects

Chontra Police in its crackdown against illegal weapons conducted raids in different areas and apprehended seven suspects and recovered a large number of weapons worth millions of rupees from their possession. Saddar Circle SP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, on Friday informed that Chontra Police on the directives of the Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) launched a search operation in Rajar area in its jurisdiction and arrested seven suspects identified as Waqas, Imran, Umer, Faiz, Ghulam, Mohsin, Shouket and recovered 50 Kalashnikovs and huge quantity of foreign arms from their possession. He said that the police was conducting operations on a daily basis without any discrimination.
