No compromise on road safety: official

Driving licences will only be issued to people who complete their driving license test and examination

QUETTA: A lack of understanding of driving and safety rules are the cause of the majority of accidents, observed Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Quetta Division Secretary Rehana Gul Kakar while calling for greater scrutiny of the process making one eligible to drive.

There will be no compromise in maintaining traffic rules and regulations in the city,” asserted Kakar while speaking to a group of people during a driving test examination in Quetta.

“Now, driving licences will only be issued to people when they complete their driving license test and examination.” She also issued directives to the authorities concerned in this regard.
