RAWALPINDI:
A man died after getting hit by a train while crossing a track in Chaklala.
The victim, identified as Aijaz, was wearing earphones and did not hear sound of incoming train while crossing the railway track.
Airport police shifted the body to a local hospital and started legal process.
Separately, at least eight people including children were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at Nankana Sahib on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources the family on a speedy motorcycle could not control its speed and collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite side. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital, where condition of children was stated to be serious.
