Class VIII board exams in March, 2020

In light of the Peshawar High Court verdict issued 10 days ago, the eight education boards of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have announced eight grade examinations March 4, 2020. The education boards have told schools under their control to prepare students for these exams. Only government schools are required to take class VIII exams as board exams, otherwise private schools check and pass their students themselves. “We have decided to hold class VIII exams in March in the Inter-Boards Chairmen Committee (IBCC) and will share the decision with the K-P education department for input take and hope that Adviser to CM on Education Ziaullah Banagash will support the idea,” said IBCC Chairman Hakim Ullah.
