ATC grants exemption to PTI leader

QUETTA: Quetta Anti-Terrorism Court has granted an exception to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial President Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind from appearing in the murder case of Mir Nawaz Jatoi. Rind had filed an application for the exemption from court proceeding of the day which was accepted. Quetta Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Muneer Marri heard the case of the murder as the son of Rind Sardarzada Khan Rind appeared in the court to represent his father. During the hearing, a witness appeared in the court and recorded testimony related to the case. Later, the judge adjourned the case until September 19. Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, a member of the provincial assembly, and his son Sardarzada Khan Muhammad Rind have been accused of the murder for the tribal leader Mir Nawaz Jatoi.
