1965 spirit ‘needs to be revived’

Acting Balochistan Governor Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Friday said we must promise today that we should not waste our great martyrs’ sacrifices who had embraced martyrdom for the protection of the country on September 6, 1965.

In his message issued here on Defence Day, he said that September 6 is a special day in the history of Pakistan while our brave armed forces had made history after defeating the enemy at the border in response to a cowardly attempt 52 years ago.

Bizenjo said that our brave forces had shown great courage and bravery and foiled nefarious plans of the enemy in the war.


Emphasising the importance of the day, he said, “We should promise not to waste sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives for Pakistan.

Bizenjo said that today we need similar spirit and determination that the entire nation had demonstrated during the war. He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the nation.
