Support for Kashmir till last breath, says PTI leader
Sept 6 to be commemorated as Defence Day and Kashmir Solidarity Day
QUETTA:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial chief Babar Yousafzai has said that like the rest of the country, Balochistan will observe Defence Day and Kashmir Solidarity Day with traditional zeal and fervour.
“Support for Kashmir will continue till our last breath and the incumbent government will not compromise on the Kashmiris rights to self-determination,” Yousafzai said while chairing a meeting to finalise preparations for September 6.
The PTI leader said that public gatherings would be held across the province in support of Kashmiri brothers as well as to pay tribute to the martyrs and show solidarity with their families. He also urged party workers and activists to bring flags of Pakistan and Kashmir to the public events.
“Kashmiris have been forced to live under curfew for over a month. The nation is ready and fully supports the army to challenge Indian suppression in occupied Kashmir,” he said.
“Our support will continue till the independence of Kashmir, which includes moral, diplomatic and economic support. Our government will never accept any agreement which can sabotage the rights of the Kashmir people,” Yousafzai added.
He also urged that international community to take a stand against Indian brutality in IOK.
