Three-day workshop ends
During which students learnt about different art forms and techniques

A three-day art workshop organised at Alhamra Art Gallery by the Lahore Arts Council (LAC) ended on Thursday. The art workshop began on Tuesday and was inaugurated by LAC Executive Director Ather Ali Khan. More than 50 participants registered for the workshop which was conducted by a Turkish teacher. During the workshop, students learnt about different art forms and techniques. At the inauguration, LAC Executive Director Ather Ali Khan stated that the purpose behind organising the workshop was to provide the youth with platforms where they are able to exhibit their skills and ideas at a national and international level. He revealed that the workshop was part of a cultural exchange programme between Pakistan and Turkey. He stated that the Pakistani youth were keen to learn different mediums, adding that Alhamra will continue to conduct more workshops and activities to encourage citizens in this regard.
