Murder: Two convicted, two acquitted
The court awarded life sentences as well as imposing a Rs100,000 fine on the two.

An Additional Sessions Judge, Zafar Iqbal Tarar, on Thursday awarded life sentences to Abdul Sattar and Arshad Mehmood for killing Khurram Shahbaz over an old enmity Kutwalli police area on July 21, 2009.
The court also imposed a Rs100,000 fine on the two. In another case, Additional Sessions Judge Malik Shabir Ahmed sent Fazal Abbas to prison for 25 years for killing Faisal Islam on Feb 5, 2010.He imposed a Rs200,000 fine on Ahmed. The judge acquitted Hassan Tahir and Umar Islam from murder charges.
