Weather report: Rains won't be that heavy this year: Met office
Sindh's wind patterns are normal while southern parts of Balochistan are expected to get some rain.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) claims that this year the rainfall will not be heavy.
PMD chief meteorologist Naeem Shah told The Express Tribune that Sindh's wind patterns are normal while the central and north-eastern parts of Balochistan are experiencing seasonal low pressure systems which would lead to rains in southern Balochistan on Sunday and Monday.
As for Karachi and lower Sindh, the temperature will vary between 34 and 36 degrees Centigrade. Lower Sindh may experience rain. "We are expecting normal rain this year, as weather conditions are not like last year's," Shah explained. Lahore's chief meteorologist Muhammad Riaz seconded Shah's predictions, claiming that this year's rains will be normal, thus greatly reducing the possibility of a flood.
