RWMC to clean procession routes
The MD directs officials to monitor cleanliness in the vicinities of Imambargahs and mourning procession routes daily

The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) has directed the relevant officials to ensure that roads from which Muharram processions will pass are cleaned.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, RWMC Managing Director Awais Manzoor Tarrar directed officials to monitor cleanliness in the vicinities of Imambargahs and mourning procession routes daily.
He further said that the cleanliness of nullahs near Imambargahs should be ensured using heavy machinery and xcavators.
He added that strict action will be taken against those who are found negligent towards their duties.
