Senior officers should give their suggestions in light of their experience and mutual discussions
LAHORE:
The Punjab police recruitment policy will be updated to recruit the best talent in the police force, said Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Captain (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan.
He was addressing a meeting at the Central Police Office where he discussed different projects of Punjab police, recruitment policy and working of other departments.
He said that bringing improvement in the recruitment policy is the need of the hour. Therefore, senior officers should come up with their suggestions in light of their experience and mutual discussions. These suggestions can be approved in the next meeting of the Police Executive Board. During the meeting, officers suggested that there should be the department’s own departmental service board for the selection of suitable candidates. Psychologists should be part of the interview panel to hire the best talent.
