The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday declared former chief minister of the province Syed Qaim Ali Shah innocent in a case pertaining to the illegal allotment of 94 acres of land in Malir.

Last year, the court granted two weeks for submission of the NAB DG's report regarding the case and ordered the investigation officer (IO) to complete the inquiry by September 9. The court also extended the interim bail of the accused.
According to NAB's allegation, Shah illegally allotted government land to Mehran Society and Golf Builders. Later, he cancelled the allotment and now Sindh government is in possession of the land.
