Increase in Fata Annual Development plan

Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh announced an increase in Fata's Annual Development Plan from Rs8.6 billion to Rs15  billion.

The finance minister said this during a meeting with parliamentarians from Fata.

Sheikh assured the delegation that all constitutional and administrative formalities will be completed shortly to release the funds.

The parliamentarians also apprised him of the economic problems faced by citizens of Fata.
