KARACHI: Pakistan stock market on Monday failed to resume trade due to a technical fault.
"Due to some technical issues identified the trading system of the exchange could not be launched, therefore trading has been temporarily suspended by PSX," Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) General Manager Trading and TRE Holder Affairs Jawad Hashmi said in a notice.
The timing for the resumption for the trading shall be notified to all market participants in due course, he added.
The market was scheduled to resume trade at 9:30 am.
