Football: Argentina remain winless
Argentina lost another stalemate against Colombia
SANTA FE:
Argentina were booed off the pitch by their own fans after they could only manage another stalemate against Colombia, compromising their bid to reach the Copa America quarter-finals.
Despite having an embarrassment of riches in an attack spearheaded by Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez, Argentina failed to impress. Coach Sergio Batista, however, said there would be no major changes for the final group game. “We have a game against Costa Rica and if we win that, we will have five points and go through,” he insisted, adding that he understood fans’ frustration. Colombia remain top of the group with four points having seen off the Costa Ricans.
